The
Dorian Scale

The Dorian mode is the same as the major
mode, but the third and seventh notes are lowered 1/2
step
|

In the Key of E, this pattern occurs on the 2nd fret, and in
the key of A, it occurs on the 7th fret...see if you can figure out where it
would be found in other keys

This pattern in the Dorian mode can be found at
the 4th through the 8th fret in the key of E...to play it in the key of F,
simply put the F note where the orange dot is...you can do this for any key you
wish to play in.

In the key of E, this scale pattern is
located on frets 6 through 10...see if you can figure out where it would occur
in other keys.
Remembering that the orange dots indicate the root note, see
if you can determine where the next two patterns are found in the key of
E.
